Were you in a situation where you had to find a good store to buy the gift from but couldn't easily find one! Did you ever think about giving gifts to friends on Facebook on their birthday?
For all of these cases above we have created a unique Digitization of gift card. In this type of digitization, there is a customer, merchant, and advertisement company. The customer uses a hand held device that receives notification from the merchant about a digitized coupon. The merchant builds and maintains a database of customers that he or she would like to notify them about sales in their business. This database can be asked to generate very specific list of people to target them with coupons. For example, the merchant around Christmas would like to target the segment of people that are within a certain bracket and visited the shop at least once in their holiday shopping. CUSTOMER GIFTING is built on the idea of sending a gift to a loved one when there is a special occasion using social media present in Facebook or LinekdIn. The user can, for example, send a gift from Facebook to his or her loved one on their birthday and save him or herself the effort of gift shopping and guarantying of sending the gift on time regardless of his or her location.
In fact, the idea of INSTANT CUSTOMER GIFTING is built using very simple customer-merchant-advertisement company actions. INSTANT CUSTOMER GIFTING is realized as following: the merchant uses a web server and a local WIFII to broadcast digitized coupons. Customers in or near the store or registered with the merchant receive an alert of the existence of these coupons via SMS or emails to their smart phones. Upon notification, the customers then can join a digitized coupons club created by the merchant, which similar to the customary electronic clothing flyer for example, to browse the available coupons.
Advertisement company does social marketing campaigns for the merchant using simple analytics applied to the datasets that the merchants have. For example, the advertisement company can segment socially the customers into purchasing powers like strong - people who do a lot of shopping on Facebook - and weak people who do very little shopping on Facebook. The merchant then can ask the advertisement company to apply this segmentation to the teenage group in their database and to notify them of digitized coupons using his Facebook account as well as his street store.
Moreover, INSTANT CUSTOMER GIFTING implements two sub functionalities: public and privatized. In the puplic functionality, the gift card can be redeemed at a wide public collection of merchants; whereas privatized functionality, the gift card can be redeemed at a single merchant location only.
Interestingly, our products aim at combining the consumer social psychology of gift card behavior with the growing financial value of the database data using backend metrics (cataloging purchase activity, choices, and favorites). In a nutshell, we provide our clients with location aware personalized data that saves this information and make the information readily accessible to support marketing decisions of digitized coupons. Thus, finding the digitized coupons that have social value recommended by friends and colleagues while traveling is very simple.
